The abilty to read minds...like, EVERYTHING that person would think, thinks, or will think about ANYTHING. I would use it to always be able to do or say the right thing so that I could be friends with more people, and get into less trouble, and help people.

The power to be in charge of all Genies everywhere. They would do my bidding and there would be a few changes in this world for sure. The first change would be that all firearms would vanish and the ammunition with them along with the knowledge of how to manufacture them. The next change would be that all people would have an abundant source of energy to warm and cool themselves and drive all the machines needed to make life livable. Then, centralized governments would join together and agree that they no longer need to exist and would indeed go away. Taxes would cease, wars would end. Then, I would make all people understand and love each other as though we cared.. Then I'd use the ultimate power. I'd make it all vanish in a blink. Black, dark, nothingness forever. Serves you right for reading this far!

Ah, you spoiled it when you said one power only :). I was seeing myself as Superman building homes with superspeed, turning coal into diamonds with super strength (so I could pay for college educations for all those kids who can't go to school) and using superbreath to cool the melting ice caps. Maybe I could fly and find a way to use a giant filter to get the pollutants out of the air and stop global warmning.
But now you say I only have one super power. What would it be?
Honestly, no super power. I'm better off being me and doing what I can to help my corner of the world, just the way I am.

The power to produce anything that comes to mind. It would be especially useful in an extreme event like if there were a fire and I thought of a firetruck with the firemen they could put out the fire sooner so we wouldn't have to wait 13-15 minutes. Why? To help save lives.

I think I'd want the power to make people have a driving need to get along with other people, and help them instead of harming them, so as to make the world a better place.

The Power to heal cats,
this is very dear to my heart.
I would like the power to heal all cats
with just the touch of my hand on their body.
I don't want to bring them back to life,
but I want to be able to make them well
and healthy with just the touch of my hand.
I think this would be wonderful.

The power to blink my eyes and be any place in the world. It would be great to have breakfast in France,lunch in Switzerland,supper in Florida sleep in California ,then be home bright and early the next day

Telekinesis. I've just always thought that would be a useful superpower to have. Especially when moving. And I could use it to help people when they get stuck underneath something or trapped somewhere.
