I would like to shove them all into a small, airtight closet with my gym socks.
Seriously, I think it's terrible how some people do that. Yahoo Answers is supposed to be place where people can share opinions. And it's horrible how they're being rewarded for it!

My guess would be that it works both ways - ultimately people with diametrically opposed views are going to bump heads anyhow. I'd like to think that yahoo's system would at least help keep the battles to background noise rather than taking over the entire place. Like I said I'd LIKE to think that.

This is the first I've heard of that. But honestly, if all they have to do with their day is make what's basically a sh*t list on Y!A and report people constantly, how many friends could they possibly have? Some pity is in order methinks.

I dont know if thats true but lots a reports are happening and loads of people are concerned as they do it too easy for no real reason.ive got a few contacts and they are regulars that i have found to be very very nice and have very clever answers and imformative ones and a sense of humour to boot.dont let the minority upset you,as you have a right to respond to Y/A,if you dont agree.(ive done that) cheers.

That has always happened. That's why a lot of people don't want new fans and contacts and others are very cautious on who they take as contacts. I guess this would be a form of trolls.
