Here is a tip. be prepared for things not to go your way. You might be suprised what your parents have learned since your sister gave them the same greif. Many parents now days simply call the police and let them pick you up. You then would be impounded and might just be suprised at how that works out for you. Of course that could end up better than many have found. You might just find your self captive by someone that has found out you left and your imagination cannot possible imagine what someone might do to you in a very short period. Don't worry much because it will be fun and you will certainly remember it the rest of your life since pain is not forgotten very easily.

I think you will end up homeless. Of coarse people are going to tell you not to do this. Just stick it out at home until you can either get emancipated from your parents or turn 18. Life is tough. And, at 14 you will likely not be able to work a normal job. Many homeless teens turn to illegal or degrading behaviors to survive. Don't do it. Also, you could become the victim of a crime.

It's never to late to stop and think about what you are doing, Do you have any idea what this will do to your parents? What is it that your looking for? I carried all 3 of my kids for 9 months and then gave birth, bottle fed them because if I didn't they would die, put clothes on them, took care of them, if they got sick I took them to the doctors, if one of my kids came up with this crazy idea of running away for two days and I didn't know where they were I wouldn't be able to sleep, eat or function. I would cry in fear of some mad person taking them and hurting them or killing them,,, this is what you will do to your mother! There comes a time in your life where you have to accept responsibility for your actions and grow up. If your mad about something talk to them, we hear more than you think we do. This goes to show why the law needs to raise the driving age on you kids because you do crap without thinking about the outcome... And running away to a friends house isn't running away, it's hiding, and if your friends mother doesn't call your mom she could get locked up for hiding you... So if your going to run away do it right, don;t pull others into your drama, go sleep under a bridge with the homeless drunks and hope like hell you survive the night... Things like this really up set me, grow up!!!

The big question I have is why? If you remember what it did to your parents when your sister ran away, why would you want to create the same feelings? For a thrill?
I would hope there is no way you can do this and not get in trouble.

Do you know how dangerous that is? There are predators just waiting for runaway teenaged girls. They will rape you, hook you on drugs and turn you out to be prostitutes on the streets. And they can do it in less than 2 days.
Why would you want to hurt and worry your parents like that? If you were my daughter, you would be in a foster home until you learned to appreciate your own home.

Think through this. What is the best thing that could happen if you run away? Probably not a dang thing. What is the worst thing that could happen if you run away? Hmmmm...starvation, rape, murder, sickness, loss of your parents trust and respect, dead-end lives. Doesn't sound like such a great deal to me.
