Jim D.:---I have great respect for your opinion. You always give sensible answers.
However, being one of those nasty conservatives, I must ask that we agree to disagree.
We seem to have had very different experiences in life, and we have developed different political views.
I have mixed feelings on matters like abortion and stem cell research, but I'm sure there are many political questions on which we will agree.

Joe; It's O.K., don't worry about it.
Soon you'll be ready to make fart noises with your armpits.

Depends on just how you define rich, and middle class. But the top 5% in income pay a little over half of the total federal tax collected, the top 10% pay about 2/3 of the total, and the top 50% pay about 96% of the total.

With a Republican "government" in office everybody knows that the middle class (something that, before the Bush "Administration" we, in the US, used to have), must pay the taxes for the rich.

Not only do the new peasants (those of us who used to be middle class)pay the taxes for the rich, we must pay a penalty to the rich for the privilege of the honor of paying their portion of the total tax.

Either this or I must be really, really disappointed in the tragedy that is the modern Republican Party.

Why we, as a people, couldn’t listen to George Washington is indicative of just how long we will keep what used to be known as “AMERICA” !

Ask more 'God' questions.
I like how you go back in and tell everybody off one by one.
I don't mean that in a negative way.. I think it's a cool challenge.

Cheers !!
