The highest returning associates degrees (2 year programs) are in health care (esp RN) and Engineering (esp. computer and chemical).

Truck Driving (CDL - big trucks OTR) pays very well and the training is well under 2 years.

Getting certified as a teacher requires 4-5 years minimum.

RN-NURSING FIELD--BONUS, SCHOOLING ETC.-$70,000 + A YEAR

TEACHING--SCHOOLING PAID OFF AS YOU TEACH AND SOME DISTRICTS GIVE YOU A HOUSING ALLOWANCE TO MOVE TO THEIR STATE- $68,000 +/-

CORRECTIONS-H/S DEGREE-AND ALL THE OVERTIME YOU CAN WORK IN A WEEK UP TO 48 HOURS--SOME OF US MAKE $100,000 + A YEAR IN ALABAMA-80 HOUR WEEK AND A 96 HOUR O/T CHECK.

NEVER ENOUGH TO DO THE JOB IN ANY OF THESE THREE FIELDS.
