I have been taking the birth control pill for about 2 years now and i have been taking it at the same time but the past week i have not been able to take it at the time i normally do i usually take it at 3 but it would be better if i toke it at 7 how would i go about switching the time that i take the pill

Take it at the different time on a new pill pack.

probably just take it an hour later every day until you have it at the right time ... really though, if you do it in the middle of your pack, you'd probably be just fine switching it to 7. four hours isn't going to put you at risk for pregnancy. (although if it's a very low-dose one, like say Alesse, maybe use a condom for a few days if you use this abrupt method).

You can't without making it less effective unless you wait until the period week and then just start your new pack at 7.
