I know of a few day care centers that are actually in the resort/casino.

"kids Quest"

Boulder Station
Red Rock
Santa Fe Station
Sunset Station
Texas Station
The Palms

"Kids Tyme"

Orleans

IMO the Orleans is the best, as far as a family resort goes.
They have very nice, over sized rooms, one of the best value buffets in LV. Something like 10 or 11 restaurants, including 2 of my favorite places to eat, The Prime Rid Loft & The Courtyard Cafe.

They have a 70 lane bowling alley, an arcade for the kids, their own arena for sporting and special events, an 18 screen movie theater. Free shuttle to the center of the strip & to the Gold Coast/Rio/Palms area.

The Orleans was also selected by tripadvisor.com as the #2 best value hotel in the world. >It's one of our favorite hotels in LV, we spend a week or two there every year(since the Orleans opened in 96)

A good source of LV info

I know you cannot have a 13 yr old in a casino while you gamble. As far a day care is concerned, I am not so sure about that. However there are tons of activites for kids in Las Vegas http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/entertain-kids.html but just like everywhere else, kids must be accompanied by an adult.

There are babysitting services in Vegas - these will be bonded, and the sitter will take care of your children in/around the hotel. I have friends who regularly come out from Boston and use one - but I suspect they are not cheap.
I suggest you call your hotel - get hold of hte concierge (if there is one) and ask what babysitting service they recommend and prices etc.
There are a large number of kid friendly activities these days 'out' but you do need to be with them for these e.g. Circus Circus acts, Gameworks, amusement park rides (e.g. at the Stratosphere), aquarium (at Mandalay Bay), animals at Mirage etc. You may want to split your time between doing things with them, and using the sitter!

Contact your hotel and ask for the concierge. I am sure it can be accommodated
