The Global Economy..How is it doing these days? Websites..I need this info for a report!?

I need to do this for a report. Due tomorrow.
Anyway, I'm was looking for various websites but they don't really help me out (I'm in 9th grade)
So how is the Global Economy doing? Is it ok or bad?
Do you have the links to any websites that might help me out?
I need this for the following also: Job Market and U.S Economy.
I have been looking for 2 straight days but can't find any websites that help me!!!!!!

Almost half the countries in the world, including India and china, economies are growing more than 5% a year, which is good, especially considering that many of them are poor. see

The US economy has been doing all right, but in the last several months there has been problems in the mortgage markets that may cause a recession next year.
