I resigned from Alcoholics Anonymous recently and was invited to address the local Liquor-Lovers Association.
I meant to begin : "I love my liquor!", but, being slightly sozzled, it came out : "I lick my lover!"
I'm thinking of resigning again and joining the Swinging Singles : Would that be an over-reaction?

I'm a recovering alcoholic and have been in AA for 17 years and I've never heard of anyone who "resigned" from AA. If you aren't getting anything out of it then you just stop going to meeting. i really hope you reconsider though.

If that really happened then i wish i could of been there (must of been funny..lol) but on a more serious note i think you should step back, take a big look at your life and think how you can make it better for your own sake. good luck to you.
