That's politics for you. He won't close our country's borders because it will hurt the big businesses he is tied to. But let's not forget that neither Congress or the House will either.

President Bush fenced Iraq border so that there is a complete control of the oil thereat unlike in the US bordr with Mexico when there is no benefit to their business.
