Actually, I find myself identifying with your feelings.
I too experience these emotions sporadically. Sometimes I think it'd be better to be alone and carry on with my studies [i like physics] and be at peace and solitude. You're not crazy. As Newton and Einstein, many great minds prefer to live in solitude; to remain in their minds, solving problems, and progressing with the things they value the most. You shouldn't be embarrassed. We're all unique in our own ways.

You must feel alone. It will cause you to imagine things. I know this feeling very well. Crazy? Not at all. But if you were to live alone for years, you would become crazy.
It also sounds like you want to express your feelings, but can't for some reason.
I bet you like poetry. If not, you'd be good at it.
You posted this question for a reason, help. Well here it is. Your self-esteem is very low and can be raised by building confidence. Interact with people. If that sounds scary, then start small. Find someone to chat with, online even. I'd be happy to help if you have no one else. I'll work with you and help you build confidence.
There are many people just like you.

You know what? what is normal anyway? you may look at me, and think that I am "normal" and I look at you thinking you're "normal"...now, who is to define "normal" or "craziness" anyway? I honestly think I'm going insane too (especially with my life-history). I have been seeing a therapist, depressed, and suicidal. we all think that we are personally "crazy". what is crazy anyway? okay, so maybe you're a little different. but so am I and everybody else. I have imagined myself in the future the same way. I have always imagined myself living a secluded life where no one even knows I exist. I wanna live like no other. I wanna live my dream, as much as it might sound "crazy", I wanna do that too. I want the freedom, I dont want the "craziness" of society. I don't really care much for anything. I really don't have much motivation for anything mundane. I wanna live free, myself, nothing to worry about, free in nature. Honestly, I don't really think you're "crazy". maybe you don't really thing the same way that others do, but no, I have had and heard worst. I think maybe you're just stressed out or something. maybe you should take a vacation or a day off from work and just forget about everything. take a trip to somewhere where you can scream, laugh and cry all at the same time. let it all out! Maybe you just need alittle "me" time. spend a whole day just enjoying yourself. go to a spa, take a bubble bath, just do something that you really enjoy doing with just yourself that is relaxing to you. take good care of yourself, pamper yourself. It's okay, I feel the same way-just don't do anything extreme. Take care-with love, Carmelita.

Sounds like you have a lot of stress going on in your life - are you unable to express these emotions because of an inner barrier, ie fear or embarrassment or an exterior barrier - like a loved one shutting you down?
There is nothing wrong with how your feeling, it just seems that you are unable to appropriately exhibit your feelings. If you continue feeling this way, you may want to seek professional assistance.
But scream, cry, yell, shout from the rooftops - if it makes you feel better, then who cares if people think your crazy!

I don't think you are crazy. Maybe you should find a field and scream, shout, sing, cry, laugh and get it all. You may need the solitude because your real life may be filled with too much noise! So go for it, and go alone. JL

your not crazy. i like your idea. its just, thats alot of stress relief without a lot of stress. i think every now and then you should go into the city just to see and hear things and people, but hey, there's nothing wrong with living alone in a very isolated area to run through a field. it sounds very peaceful and intune with yourself.

There is something deep inside of you that wants to be free of society and its pressures. You should not ignore these impulses, but release them. Do you live near a park (I am assuming you live in an urban environment)? Take a walk, some time to your self to reconnect with nature. Reaffirm your place in the universe. Just BE with other living creatures, streams, rocks, trees, the sky.

Well from what you've told me it seems your holding a lot in and most of it your not willing to tell anyone. Its good to have a good cry but it seems like what ever your keeping in is really bothering you. I would call a kids help line, not that your in need of help, but its good to talk and be listened and not judged. I hope you get the help because its not normal to feel this way and yu need to remeber its good to talk or you can get sick in some cases. Your not going crazy or insane, you just need someone to listen.

I don't think that you are crazy; just stressed out over something.
You said that you do medical research, or something like that. Maybe your job is stressful. Take a vacation, or a sabbatical, and go run through the wilderness and do whatever you want or feel like to get it out of your system.

you are not crazy. this shows that you feel lonely and wanna be alone. and that's why you imagine yourself live far away from people. you need to be more social. you do medical research. in the future, take the pharmacy or doctor course because that's what you love to do. good luck!
