This is not a science question.
It could be a philosophical question, but it needs to be refined.
What is a cosmic bomb?
How can it be dormant? ... as opposed to what? (i.e., what is "non-dormant", given that our universe is observed to be in expansion, therefore not very dormant).
What kind of ideas should we have in relation to the dormancy (or non-dormancy) of a cosmic bomb?

Hmm. If it's gonna happen in my lifetime I'll be kinda bummed. If it's AFTER I'm already worm food, then I really don't care. But what do you think about the sun dying and freezing the earth and then the sun dying out and turning into a white dwarf or some s*** and our whole galaxy zapping out into nothing? Well friend, THAT scares me. Peace out.

If and when it explodes, it won't matter what I think since we'll all be dead in a nanosecond.
Personally, I think the idea is just one more "let's see how much we can scare the gullible people" or "lets see what some people will believe no matter how silly it is".

Well my idea would be that the sun would eventually explode into bits and pieces and fall upon earth shooting its fireballs at us, and then all chaos will break loose, like hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes....etc. Maybe the devil will come and wreak havoc and then god will try to save us or something lol.

If this were true, I can only hope that you and people like you would be kept alive throughout the catastrophe so you might die a slow, painful death.
Please either put more thought into future conjectures or do everyone a favour and stop thinking before you hurt yourself.
