for example

2H2 + O2 ---> 2H2O

2 : 1 : 2

Therefore it is easier than using grams

Atoms react with other atoms. SInce each atom is a different mass, the atoms react with each other in a ratio of their respective masses.

Moles are simply a multiple of the the mass of each atom. They react in the same ratio.

because u need to know how many molecules of the substance there are before u can calculate how much they weigh.
