I value my self-respect and self-esteem.
I fought long and hard for them. The battle was worth it in the long run, but it wasn't much fun when I was fighting it.
All of life is an uphill course. We are learning every day. But the most important thing is to learn to love and respect ourselves. Then we can live in accord with ourselves.

My health.
Because I am past my midlife crisis so I am closer to the end of my life than the beginning.
My mom died last year. She had a stroke and heart attack 9 years ago and colon cancer after that and slowly declined through those 9 years.
It was so hard watching her deteriorate from a vibrant person of 73 to an invalid of 82.
I never want to have to go through that.

I value honesty and integrity above all. I genuinely feel if everyone valued these there would be less problems in our lives...
