without being criticized for your opinions? I like to ask questions about Bush because I'm curious to see how people respond, yet lately I've been getting attacked for it. Why is that? I don't go around attacking people who don't like Hillary Clinton just because I DO like her....everyone has a right to express their feelings and ask other people about theirs. If I don't have a genuine answer to a question, I ignore it and move on.
Does anyone else find it frustrating that they're attacked for their opinions instead of getting answers to their actual questions?

GoodJuJu, what you said is exactly what I said. Everyone has a right to free speech. I value free speech so much it isn't even funny. The problem I'm having is when people make it personal...when they say, "You're an idiot, this is how I feel." It's possible to tell me how you feel without calling me names or assigning me negative attributes...ya know? That's the point I'm trying to get across.

I agree and understand why that would be frustrating. I believe that everyone has a right to their own opinion, and criticizing someone for their opinion is hypocritical if you expect to be allowed to express your own opinion.
We need to have more respect and civility here, that's the only way this will stay fun.

Good question .Yes , I find it frustrating . Equally frustrating - is we can not even listen to our favorite radio programs without somebody coming along trying to pull a reverse-psychology act with some unfair so called "Fairness Doctrine" to shut them & their expressed feelings or opinions up .. and they are attacked and threatened because of their opinions . More than frustrating - this is just wrong and doesn't belong in America . After reviewing the documented record of Hillary Rodham Clinton , I could not vote for the old girl..but the last thing I would want to see - would be for anyone else to be stopped from voicing opinion of her , or anyone else . By the way - did you know , that Hillary has said publicly (since the Clinton White House) that Americans have too much free speech ? You might check that out - especially since you value yours - the way I value mine . She also expressed plans to stop the flow & speed of information over the Internet . Those are just some of the reasons she rubs me the wrong way . Luckily, I can still say that ..can't I ?

Well the problem is that most people on here who talk about Bush have "Bush Derangement Syndrome". This means that they think that every world disaster is the cause of GWB.
The people who think that Bush and Dick Cheney planted explosives in the WTC to make 9/11 happen, or who think that Bush blew up the levee in New Orleans have this syndrome.
You do have the right to ask questions, but if they are absurd you will be challenged.
As for Hillary Clinton, you have the right to like her. However, if you look at her statements you will realize that she says one thing to one group and says the exact opposite to another.
Over a very short period of time she said she supported the war in Iraq, but later says she wants to withdraw the troops. So which is her true belief?
Actually, Hillary is, in my opinion, just a person who wants to win at ANY cost. And do we really need another Dynasty in Washington? Two Bushes were one too many, and I think that 2 Clintons are exactly the same.
Lets find another choice, ANY other choice.

You like Hildabeast the people eater...wow. Ok, no attacks from me for it. You chose to ride in that lonely boat and I imagine that is where your frustration stems from. When has there ever been a day that you could find no opposing side in politics...never. I'm opposed to illegals in the U.S. and more than being attacked on this forum, I've got a couple of online stalkers from it. Free speech is lovely but you have to take the good with the bad...and expect others to exercise their right to that free speech as well.

Definately.
If we have to respect Bush in his office of the President, shouldn't we respect Hillary in the same manner as the former First Lady and the Junior Senator from NY?
It's simply rhetoric meant to deflect from the real issues.

it's because the americans on both sides of the politcal spectrum have became politcal bullies, You have people like Bill O'reilly, Rush Limbaugh, and Ann Coulter who think the only way to win an argument is to belittle someone and be rude to get their point across.

Some people can't handle the real truth. You (Being an honest person) scare the people who are afraid of the truth. You ask and tell it like it is and that scares people. Please! Never stop.

Party loyalists love their political leaders more than life itself. They feel duty bound to defend the "good name" of their corrupt leaders.
