If the Mayans were still around, they would destroy the world by getting a new calendar in 2012. Fortunately they are gone, and such devastating timekeeping techniques went with them.

Yes we are. However I am building this spaceship in my back yard with room for several hundred people. So if you will send me all your money (you won't need it after all) I will be able to complete construction and buy supplies to escape to another Planet. Your name will go on the list of passengers.

Statistically, some of us are.
Of course, this has nothing to do with the end of the present Long Count of the Mayan Calendar which is nothing more than their equivalent to our Y2k (Dec. 31, 1999 when all the computer blew up and we all died).

The Bible speaks precisely of a time of great trouble, No man knows the day or hour but the seasons we do know. 2012 could be the year. Hang on tight......james
