When other idiots have predicted the end of the world in the past, even bigger idiots have sometimes committed suicide on their say-so.
So, you could try that, then you would know you are are going to die.

If the Mayans were still around, they would destroy the world by getting a new calendar in 2012. Fortunately they are gone, and such devastating timekeeping techniques went with them.

Of course, this has nothing to do with the end of the present Long Count of the Mayan Calendar which is nothing more than their equivalent to our Y2k (Dec. 31, 1999 when all the computer blew up and we all died).

Why may I ask...Holocast! The source? Reliable. Ithink not so....too many times calling wolf wolf. Even if so, what do we do? Yes by 2012, the world's environment conditions would have detiorated very badly !

no one really knows.
Some think that a bunch of things might happen, with the solar flare and ice bergs melting, and our solar system being somehow alligned in out galaxy, i dont really get it.
but it might just be a normal day, with nothing...
