With the Steelers having a bye, this is a no brainer. For me, New England at Dallas. This should be a very interesting game. This may the 2nd most watched game this year, behind the Pats and Colts. (or it could be number 1, who knows?)
For those who hate both of these teams (I know who NE and Dallas fans will root for, so that's already decided), if you absolutely just had to pick one to win (I know its gun wrenching, my stomach is turning as I type), who would it be? Dallas or NE?
That being said, I myself hope it ends in a 0-0 tie. Let's just say it would take an act of God to get me to root for Dallas.

yeah, that'll be a good game ...
ooh!
I never even thought of the 0-0 ties option .... that would be ideal, I guess.
although I HATE the cowboys just an itty bitty smidgen more than I hate the Pats ... so I guess I would say I hope the Pats win(I can't BELIEVE I just typed that) by ONE point. ONE lousy point! 1-0. Don't ask me how they're only going to get one point, I just want them to get as few as possible, and Dallas HAS to lose.
hehehe ....

Ya this is obviously the most anticipated game next week. Assuming Dallas wins tomorrow, which they should have no problem with all the hype and the way Romo is playing, 2 undefeated teams with rolling offenses.
I think ultimately it comes down 2 opposite things: New England's run game and Dallas' pass D
-If New England can get Maroney healthy and/or Morris keeps picking up those 1st downs it will slowly kill any momentum Dallas has. Let's just keep in mind New England has easily won their last 2 games without their star running back (he's underperforming but still #1 on the depth chart) and with him along with New England's terrific O-Line, the team has the potential to be a top running game in the NFL
-On the flipside, if this running game studders, they will do what they always do and have Brady spread it out to plethora of weapons (Moss, Stallworth, Welker, Watson, where does it end?). Dallas' question is can they stop it? Newman's been back now for 2 weeks so he's back in the flow and a Williams/Hamlin combo is possibly one of the top 5 safety combos in the NFL right now (only because of so many injuries around the league i.e. Mike Brown, Bob Sanders, Brian Dawkins, etc.). Dallas has been very inconsistent this year when it comes to pass D so it's just a matter of which one shows up.
Assuming Maroney (NE), Colvin (NE) and A. Henry (Dal) play (guys that will change the game), I'm going to say the Patriots win 34-21
This may be one of the few games this year where Romo played like he did last year in big games making dumb decisions because of the stellar Patriot defense. In fact, this maybe his only bad game all year, and it'll cost Dallas.

For me. Denver. It's their bye week and I won't have to face an another embarrassment.
This is a good question. These are the two teams I dislike the most. I think I hate the Patriots more than I do the Cowboys. I live in Maine and I'm just sick of same old babble. Before Brady took over for Bledsoe these same "fans" were wearing Giants and Packers jersey's.
Best case scenario they go into double over time and they end up tied.

Being a 49er fan, I would love to see the Patriots (with the Bay Area's own, Serra High School-San Mateo, Tom Brady) beat the Cowboys by 2 touchdowns.
I'd even settle for a close game as long as Dallas goes down. A TO fumble or tirade would be icing on the cake (pizza)!

I could see all 4 realistically winning their game, but I would have to go with Indianapolis. The Colts are playing very well and the Ravens are struggling quite a bit. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Colts win this one.

Pats and Boys.....I hope Romo gets picked 5 times and sacked 20 so people will stop spitting in Favre's face by comparing the two.
