2. He could raise lots of money so he had a powerful campaign machine
3. He was charismatic and attractive and captivated voters

That's why people voted for him in my opinion.

Even though he was raised poor he definitely made something of himself. He was a Rhodes Scholar. He was a lawyer and two term governor of Arkansas. He is known as one of the best politicians of modern times. He still has 65% popularity even after being impeached.

He was a legal USA Citizen. He met the age requirement. He knows how to speak English.
