I turned 13 a month ago and I'm finally getting a bra in a few months. Currently I wear shelf bras or those tanks with the bra layer under them. What are the different kinds of bras a 13 year old can wear that are recommended? And what's the name of those things that look like bras but they are not? Thanks for all the help. Websites with this info are appreciated.

The type of bra I use is called the Playtex 18 hour bra. I find the one that is a Soft Cup the most comfortable to use. Ask your mom to help you find out about talking to a bra fitter and find out when they are coming to the big stores like Penney's that is close to you. The bra fitter can help you find a good bra that fits and what the different styles out there are as well. The fitter (which is a lady) comes to the stores on a Sat (the store will have the dates) to help women find the right fitting bras and the service is free.

There are strapless bras. The difference between them and the usual is no straps but does have underwire unlike a lot of other bras. The underwire helps to help the breasts up when wearing these bras.

To find out about different bras check out: http://www.hanes.com and even search under the name Playtex bras.

Check out: http://www.bali.com (another bra maker) as well.

t-shirt, convertible, racer back, demi-cup, soft cup, push up, slip, extra thin, extra padded, lifts, super cups, sports the difference, is that some have straps that will match with a certain typed of shirt. others provide more protection for big-chested girls. some lift breasts upward for a more sexier look. some are padded and soft while they give a sexier look.
