I have, I was officially, visitor number 285 on the counter. Good luck with your organization. If you work for civil rights of all citizens then I fully support your cause. Though if you think that supporting the release of illegal aliens is in the best interest of the Mexican Americans who have come to this country legally, and have worked to achieve the liberties and equalities that they have, then you are mistaken. Instead work to help legal immigration occur. Help Mexican citizens who want to immigrate to make the transition and work with your legislators, but just saying hey they are already here so let them go is not the answer.

I am sorry I just visited the site and was disappointed, all I see is a continuation of a problem. You some how feel like the Anglos do not belong here, and that it should go back to Mexicans, here is where I have my biggest problem, why should it go back to the Mexicans when it belonged to he Indians first and not the Spanish. I can think of no populated lands in the world that haven't been fought over. Having read your information I assume that you support illegal immigration, I am married to a foreign national from Germany and my son is married to a foreign national from Mexico, I have no problem with those folks that have come here legally but those that have broken the laws to be here I have no support for and feel like they should be put in a jail right along with those that would hire them. This to me has nothing to do with being Anglo or being Mexican but has everything to do with survival. I am a skilled cabinet maker and wanted to work at it here in San Antonio but found that I would earn about 1/4 the amount of money an hour as I would if I were in the north east. This is because of illegal labor working for pennies and not having to care for a family here but is sending money to his family in Mexico. I understand their need to earn a living but I understand the need of all Americans having to earn a living and not being able to because of illegal labor. I have heard it said that the illegals will only do work that Americans are to lazy to do or would refuse to do. I know many American families that would do the migrant farm thing year after year. I also know many carpeters that are out of work because they can no longer earn a living as carpenters. With respect I disagree with your position. I should add that I am brown skinned, dark eyes and am often mistaken for Mexican,..........I am Micmac Indian

So many people have assimilated in our country, in our state, in our city, I think this is a mute issue now.

We have youth who are intermingled with all nationalities. What do you tell these kids? We don't want you?

I'm sorry I probably won't get any bonus points with this, but I hope some of you think closely and throughly that this site harms what San Antonio is...a beautiful city of friendly accepting people.
