Our soldiers are diying again far from home, and for what ? do we really know what are we fighting for ? do we really know who is our enemy ? who is getting more richer with this war ?

1) In the real world, spelling and grammar count
2) Iraq has oil that it has no use for
3) USA needs oil to keep the price down at the pump
4) Might makes right, so we'll take the oil
5) In war, soldiers die
6) Very few soldiers have died in this war, less than 1%
7) The people of Iraq have proven unable or unwilling to govern themselves.
8) We will establish a permanent military presence in the region
9) Stop whining and go do your duty, enlist.

wow.... first of all learn how to spell IRAQ and second of all, learn proper grammar, anyways yes we do know what we are fighting for, originally it was to remove saddam hussein from power due to the possibility of him having weapons of mass destruction, now it is a battle on terror, whether successful or not there is a more important reason we are still there, the lives of the iraqi's, if we abandoned Iraq now there would be absolutely nothing stopping Iraqi's from getting slaughtered by terrorists, ive got a question for the world also, are others lives not worth as much as ours, just because they are a different race, were born in a different country, practicing different religion, i think this is where many people fail, they say they care for our troops when they protest the war and make it out like they are honorable people, however, no honorable person would let millions of people be left at the hands of terrorists to be tortured, murdered, raped, and held hostage.

I respect every ones right to their own opinion but if we all yell we were wrong for being there and what a waste what do you think it will do to the parents, wives, children of our fallen soldiers and the people that died on 9-11. What ever has happened I believe the best thing we can do as Americans is vote the best man in for pres. and pray that god protects our men and women over there.

firstly, 'irak' is spelled iraQ. And yes. we're mainly getting involved in something that's none of our business, but the only reason we're still over ther is for oil. WE have the most technology. WE should use the money the government is taking from us and put it to good use for finding alternative efficient energy sources. Instead of focusing on which star is getting pregnant with who, we need to focus on helping ourselves, and other countries in need like sudan. iraq was involved in nearly destroying new york city. we helped them to an extent; now it's time to let them clean up their mess and keep the USA out of their biz.

Iraq . . . And it never should have happened in the first place. The only reason we are still there is to prevent chaos from breaking out, we are an occupying force.
