sinx + cosx = 0
Subtract cosx from both sides: sinx = -cosx
Divide both sides by cosx: tanx = -1
x = arctan(-1)
x = -45 degrees = -0.79 radians.

sin(x) + cos(x) = 0
sin(x) = -cos(x)
sin(x)/cos(x) = -1
tan(x) = -1
x = arctan(-1) = pi/4 = 0.79
