question for women who have had a baby?

how soon after your baby had dropped low did u give birth?
and how did you know u had dropped?

About a week, but my son was 6 weeks premature. I knew because I had pain in my pelvis... like the baby was pushing down on it.
Not very comfortable at all.

I don't know if that actually happened with me but the first time, I broke water and had the baby less than a day later. The second came only about three and a half hours after contractions began.

It took about a week, week and a half. You'll notice your stomach seems noticeably lower.
