usually the best way to find a problem like you have is to go back over every thing you have did to it,and make sure it was done right there's something wrong or the check engine light wouldn't be on,id start at the beginning, and check everything,it might be a good idea to have the computer scanned on it also, this might give you a trouble code for it,that will help in repairing it,good luck.

not knowing what your working it is hard to say. but if you can get someone with a scanner or a code reader that would send you on the way to fixing it. all you had to have done is to have anyone of the sensors disconnect with the ign. on would have set a code. one thing you can try is to disconnect the battery then unplug one sensor at a time and inspect the terminals for dirt or damage then check the grounds repair any problem and reconnect the battery but any engine with a OBD2 system will need to be cleared with a scan tool on most codes. good luck

It could be because your MAF is telling the computer that a lot more flow is going through than the vehicle was tuned for. There shouldnt be a problem with it. I would get an OBD reader just to make sure what code the car is throwing.

Go to auto zone or similar store and have the check engine code read it should tell what is up. If the mass air flow is wrong it will cause engine malfunction.
