Liberals get angry if we don't take their statements at farce, that is face value and simply accept them as fact. And as facts so rarely support what a leftist says, you can hardly blame them. Kerry, of course, spent Christmas in Cambodia. The fact that it is untrue means that his statement was taken out of context, as liberals couldn't possibly tell a lie.
Dan Rather used forged documents in an attempt to influence the outcome of a presidential election. It was a ludicrous, horrific, criminally irresponsible act. How dare he try to influence the vote of the American people by such means! But being a typical liberal, does he show shame? Of course not. He maintains it doesn't really matter, claiming that the story was true regardless of the fraudulent nature of the evidence! Unbelievable arrogance.
But this is who these people are. Leftists consider themselves superior people on the holy quest of saving the rest of us from our own stupidity and incompetence. They therefore couldn't possibly be wrong or tell a lie. And anything which proves differently must be taken out of context.

Kerry has been trash mouthing the military since the congressional hearings in 1967. Murtha has made numerous derogatory comments about the troops, their mission and their methods. Harry Reid publicly announced that the US has lost the war at a time when our troops are still on the front lines and in harms way. Hillary and her Ghandi gas station worker comment was pretty self evident in its meaning - whether intentional or not.
I guess what I'm trying to say is - just what's been "taken out of context?"

They play the victim so they don't get blamed when they're the ones taking something out of context -- hence, Dingy Harry sticking his neck out way too far with Rush last week.

By the way, ZARIHS, your answer sounds disturbingly like Soviet politics. The fact that you attribute it to the Clintons (likely with good reason) is even more disquieting.

You mean like the Rush Limbaugh comment where Harry Reid took a talk show guy's comments out of context. And when O'Reilly got accused of being a racist because he was taken out of context. It's politics game playing.

Well, it's kinda hard to take our troops are "cold blooded murderers out of context and "if you get bad grades you get stuck in Iraq out of context or even loser Reid saying the war is lost. It's politics, it's just that it is harder to take what liberals say out of context then Republicans. "Fake troops," now that was taken out of context.

It is not the usual convention to refer to lawyers as "Doctors" even though they possess doctoral degrees. I haven't heard anyone using that term in reference to Obama but, although technically correct, it is not in accordance with proper common usage.

Probably because extreme right wingers with no ability to argue a point insist on creating straw man arguments rather than actually address reality.

I assume you don't have any problem with the King of Gaffs, GWB. Kerry and Murtha are war heros and entitled to speak up.
