That would be impossible to know unless you could somehow measure the intelligence of everyone who ever existed including people in remote tribes in the middle of nowhere.

I think Ben Stein knows a lot of random facts, but I don't think that he's even close to being the smartest man in the world.
Maybe some proven genius like Stephen Hawking or Bill Gates (who's as intelligent as he is rich). Personally though, I think my daddy's the smartest man in the world. Seriously, I've seen him put college professors to shame...and he's wise as hell.
And S t - it was Eve that ate the FORBIDDEN fruit. Unless you're talking about a movie or trying to be funny or something...

Ben Stein is very intelligent. People don't give him much credit because all they really know him for was his trivia show. Look up his credentials though. He was a Presidential Speech Writer(I think it was Speech Writer). He is a truly brilliant man, and has the resume to back it up.
