My mom is really against me getting a breast reduction but I really want one, they get in my way so much and i get judged at school so much for them, and it's so hard to find clothes that fit because i have a really small waist. how can i convince my mom to let me get one?

It is an excellent site that has a great FAQ section as well as a support board that both of you can check out.
MOST PS's won't operate on a 14 year old but there ARE EXCEPTIONS. There are girls on that board that have had one and they are under the age of 18 and LOVE their reduction.
I had mine done Feb 2006 and do not regret it one bit. If I had to do it again I would!

i agree that it can be a problem, especially if you do sports where they can get in the way. and it can be embarrassing too. however, have you looked into the side effects of breast reduction? if you're willing to go along with the risks of getting sick and you show your mom that you've been researching it she'll take your judgments more seriously. it also might be hard for her to understand if her breasts are just as big and she doesn't seem to have any problems. you might want to wait until you stop growing to get the surgery though. i dont think your chest will get any bigger, but your body might, so i dont know if that would affect anything. just do some research and good luck with your decision and convincing your mom!

They are going to keep growing until you are 25 years old, so a breast reduction now wouldn't be good.

i think you should do it. it comes down to that you should be comfortable in your own skin and you should tell your mom that your self concious about it and that you'd feel much better about yourself if you do it. also, DD cups could cause health problems in the future, such as back problems. thats another reason to help convince your mom.

Be proud of your body girl! Do you know how many women would love to have those?? Think about it awhile before you finally decide.. your gonna regret it in the future.. when you get older, you're gonna be glad you got big boobs!

you don't need one honey,.
a good way to lower your cup size is to lose weight. thats why skinny people have small boobs
