well being as youhave to be 16 to drive it would be impossible. Also if he was 16,male the insurance will be about $300+ a month. NO young kid needs a car like this, he will do something idiotic and hurt himself or someone else.

Insanely high, depends on states, too. Guessing a few thousand a year.
If you have an older car (supposing it is your son), insure him on an older, less expensive car. The corvette can't be titled in his name either, since he's not over 18 (maybe 17 in some states). If the corvette is titled in your name, it'll be far less expensive.
Insurance for my camaro in my name would have been $1200 a year, whereas I'm paying $500 for a year titled in my dad's name. Once I turn 25, I'll switch my cars over to my name.
-edit- Yes, a 15 year old can drive. It's state-dependent. I've been driving since I was 15.

Are you trying to go broke? Give him a less sporty car for the first few years, where the insurance is much cheaper. Let him build a good driving record, and then let him have the Corvette. Insurance would be at least a bit cheaper. Its even better if he is over 21 with a good record.

absolutely astronomical. Just about as high as it can get.
Honestly, its for a good reason too. Young people kill themselves at stupid rates in fast cars. You shouldnt drive a car like that because youll likely end up killed. No 16 year old is a good driver. None. One with a fast car just gets cocky, and tries even stupider things, still without any driving skill.
And dont say youre different. No, Youre not. My 19 year old son, an excellent race driver, wasnt even good at 16 (hes excellent now though).

How would ya like to adopt me? I guarentee I will live longer than he does in that car( for tax purposes of course)

Giving a new driver a high powered car is probably not the wisest thing to do, the insurance would be through the roof not to mention the danger of lack of experience and high power.
