I do not know about the teachings and rules of Islam on this issue.

It would matter in which country this marriage would occur. There would be little or no problem in the United States but it would probably be illegal in an Islamic nation.

I do know that the Catholic Church allows marriage between Catholics and non-baptized persons. You will have to get permission from the bishop. This is because the Church recognizes the tremendous challenge you have ahead of you.

For more information, see the Catechism of the Catholic Church, sections 1633-1637: http://www.usccb.org/catechism/text/pt2sect2chpt3art7.htm#1633

With love in Christ.

Well nothing is impossible but Islam prohibits muslim women from marrying men that are not Muslim, though Muslim men can marry people of the Book, Jews and Christians.

Children are possessions of the Father in Islam. So if a Muslim man marrys a woman that is a Jew or a Christian, his kids will be Muslim like him. But given thier perspective, this is not soo if a Muslim woman marries a man of a different faith, they assume the kids will adopt thier fathers faith, thus dilluting the faith. It is a Muslim womans job to create more Muslims.

First of all, which religion are you talking about? More importantly, the thing is, it's not helpful to figure out a way around some religion's rules, but it is crucial to decide what's best for you, your future husband and kids. The more a husband and wife agree upon the better their chances for a happy life. The more the parents agree on the better their kids' chances for a happy life. Religious beliefs are very important. I wouldn't want to marry someone who wasn't at least in the same ballpark as me in their beliefs!
