That my dear is a fruit cake invented by the gay people of the World in 1400 B.C. Today they are known by numerous names. Tinkerbell cake. Brownie mix. Fruitloop pistachio mix. etc. etc. etc.

if you're talking about a cake with a lot of mixed fruits and nuts with alcohol in it , its a fruit cake. now if you're talking about just one fruit in it , say with a banana then you call it banana cake and so on.....
