The fact that he is a ghost.
I'm the only one that he's interested in,
he doesn't leave to find something different.
He came with the house. We understand each other.
He doesn't hog the covers at night. He's also my best friend.
He sits beside me when I'm at the computer,
but he doesn't like it,
when the phone rings and it disturbs us.
He makes the phone get a lot of static,
so I'll hang up &
we can get back to either
the computer or the TV.

The fact that she's used to cats, which keeps her from getting all bent out of shape when I'm not paying attention--which is most of the time. She's used to neutered tomcats, so she knows that nothing's going to happen if I catch the other women I chase.
She laughs at just about anything. And she wanted me at a time when I'd stopped believing that any woman could.
