Ok so my Dad keeps my internet time limited to an hour for “discipline”. But I go online anyway late at night. So my dad is this computer engineer and knows everything about computers and how they work. Sometimes he logs into my computer when I’m not home and checks at what I’ve been doing. He says he can see what sites I’ve been to and at whatever time. Thus, he catches me every time. Can someone tell me what they think he can look at to tell I’ve been online? Do you think he uses the temporary internet files or maybe my Comodo Firewall? How do I prevent this?

Click on Tools at the the top of the Internet Explorer screen, click on Internet Options and from there, look for a button that says "Delete History" or something similar to that. That should erase the sites off the top on your address bar. Click OK.

In your Internet screen, hold Ctrl and press H. Right click the all the listed periods and click delete. Do this to all of them.

To delete everything else, click Start, click Run, type in "cleanmgr" and then from there clear everything out from your C Drive. That should erase all offline webpages, other history and temporary internet files.

When on Internet Explorer, hold Ctrl+H. This will bring up the history section. Click on the day it is and delete unwanted files. To be safe, go to Tools, Internet Options, and delete Temporary Internet Files from the cache.

If you are unlucky, your Dad may have some software that can see where you have been, like my school computers have. This is unalterable, but it is probably not the case. I hope I helped.

If you use Firefox, you'd go to Tools, then select "clear private Data", and select what you want to clear. In Internet Explorer (6), you'd go to Tools, Internet Options, then hit the Clear History button and delete the Temporary Internet Files. In IE7, the same controls are there, but may be in a slightly different location.

He may still have logging in Comodo Firewall, but he's probably going to the simplest tools first.

Well, as someone with a bachelors and masters degree in computer engineering, if your old man wants to find out what you've been doing, he's going to find out what you've been doing.

None of the above are going to stop him if he really wants to know.

you might not beat him but hes probably just simply checking the internet history. If you use firefox, go to Tools>options>privacy>clear now. (at the bottem. only check clear history.)

BUT ods are, if the entire history is cleared, he will know you cleared it, thus knowing you were on at a previous time.
