The big corporations send recruiters to 4 or 5 max universities and only hire graduates from those. They ignore you altogether if you don't at least have a degree from a reputable known university. Many reputable universities have online programs though, and you end up with a good degree (you may have to go in every once in a while for paperwork or tests).

I truly hope that you are asking this question BEFORE you consider such a venue, because they are not worth the paper they are printed on. If you already have done it, then just chalk it up to ignorance and find a legitimate college which offers motorcycle repair appreticeships.
