Are you asking your landlord to provide storage other than what's in the house? The house should have a basement, maybe even an attic. Closet space and garage. Only you can decide it the house meets your needs. The landlord isn't going to pay for you to have storage other than in the house.

I don't think its mandatory for your landlords to give your storage space unless its intcluded in your lease agreement

Not unless it is so stated in the rental contract or lease .
What does your contract say ?
( same thing the judge will ask if you go to court )
The ONLY thing that counts , is what is in writing .

The only thing he has to give you is quiet enjoyment of the property. Anything additional has to be in the contract. It doesnt hurt to ask, but you may have to pay extra.
