Grass, Fishing and Wolf Spiders among others stay on the Mother's back for a few days after hatching from the egg sac. It is a fantastic thing to watch.
If a person touches the spider, all the babies scatter on the ground, but as soon as it is safe, they are right back up there. I place them in my garden when I find them w/the Mother Spider.
That means good hunting for the spiders and less insect pests for me.

It depends if there is food around. For instance, some spiders eat there own mothers when they hatch.

yes they all do if not mom can kill them
