Kids your age are too emotionally unprepared to have sex. It's good that your being responsible about it but your still getting ahead of yourself.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for being safe. If you're already having sex, then there's probably nothing that anyone here can say to persuade you otherwise. Even though I think that having sex at 14 is WAYYY to young and very risky, I applaud you for being safe.

Anyways, about buying the condoms...I'm 18 and I still get nervous sometimes when buying them as well. Since there are no age limitations, you shouldn't feel nervous at all. Be proud of being safe and protected. Walk up to the check out counter with your head held high and your back straight. If you are still nervous, buy some other things along with the condoms and don't make a big deal out of it. You can also use self check out lanes where they are provided.

Good luck and don't get anyone pregnant or get an STD!

You shouldn't be having sex at 14.

Now that I've said that, good for you for using condoms, who wants to be a dad at 14? Rent the movie "Riding In Cars With Boys" if you have any questions about teen parenting. Its a chick flick, but it'll make you think.

The people who are checking you out at the register are probably more nervous selling condoms then you are buying them. The last time I bought condoms, the teen girl at the register looked at the condoms and started laughing and wouldn't stop. Finally, she said, "What are these for? Do you put your thingy in there?" I said, in front of three other customers and the embarrassed teen cashier, " A man puts his erect penis inside this to prevent pregnancy and HIV." The girl got really red faced and wouldn't make eye contact after that. Some old lady said, "You don't have to be so crude!"
Funny as H E L L !

OMG! why are you nervous when buying condoms? The fact that your 14 could have alot to do with it, your a child, sex should be the furthest thing from your mind. Ultimately what will you gain from having sex at 14 years old, you don't know yourself well enough to share you , with someone else, do you realize that the 2 minutes your sex will last could cost you a lifetime of heartache and unnecessary problems. Please consider the reality of what your doing, this could and most likely will lead to a disaster.

You're 14, that's why! Good grief, I didn't have the nerve to grab them out of the "free condom" bowl at the student health center until I was 18, let alone buy them. But if you're having sex, it's a good thing to be using condoms, so just suck it up and buy them and remind yourself that's a whole lot better than having unprotected sex and it's worth making yourself nervous over.

Look. If you're having sex, keep buying those condoms. Use them diligently. All these people saying not to buy them because you're too young to have sex need a reality check. Fact is, you're already having sex. Fact is, you're being relatively responsible about buying them and using them.

Besides. Lots of guys use condoms to masturbate - less mess.

Any time you feel nervous about it, put your shoulders back and simply pretend you're not. Strange, I know, but it does help build confidence and eventually it'll just be part of regular life.

Because you're 14. Even adults are nervous about buying condoms. While I applaud your initiative in practicing safer sex, I still have to recommend waiting until you are older. There are too many things that can go wrong.

Because for a 14 years old kid I don't think that they're supposed to buy it because we are not mature enough to use it and I don't think they will sell it to people who are younger than 18 and you are nurvous because you know that you are not supposed to buy it or you are afraid if you get caught
