My daughter is 7 months old and sits unattended, she has been leaning herself forward and getting onto 1 knee mostly and her hands but then just whinges, she doesnt know how to move forward or anything if she moves her hands she just ends up on her belly. How do i help her to learn to move forward or will she just figure it out on her own???

She'll figure it out on her own. All babies do.

Actually, they learn it best and fastest when theyre pissed off. It sounds weird, but true. My son learned to crawl all at once because i was making the bed and he was on the floor and angry sitting there, and all at once he got on all fours and crawled. lol.

He did the same thing with standing alone.

She'll figure it out on her own. If you want you could crawl around and see if it helps. But you don't need to be in a big rush, she's not behind. She'll probably start to crawl in a month or two.

Give her time and she will work it out, you can't force development. Offer her plenty of floor play. Often babies move backwards before they move forward. Just enjoy her.

What you can do to help is to put toys of interest out of her reach, so she'll have to work to get to them...but as for the physical development itself, it'll come when it comes! :)
