Many places offer over 4.0% ( 20 times more )
Like ING , Citi eSavings and Schwab .

The account likely charges you more that than in fees! So, in effect, an account that pays only 0.20% is COSTING you money, you'd be better off keeping your money in a jam-jar!

yes you can get around 5% with hsbc for example.
