What are the moral objections?

I don't have a moral problem with it, but I believe that it's a dangerous path, emotionally. Putting a monetary value on your body makes it very easy to put a monetary value on yourSELF.

Alas, even if your self-worth is rock solid, selling your body is illegal (if you live in the US) and that makes the business not only risky but dangerous. It's just not worth it.

Of course it's wrong. Why in the world are you asking here? Has it become a hobby?

Go to the Religion section (under Society and Culture) and ask there. They'll be able to give you better answers as to why it's wrong.

There is an absolute moral standard to which everyone will be held accountable one day. Living like there isn't will only bring you much regret when that day comes.

Once you have sold your body you have no rights over it and the buyer can manipulate it anyways he/she wants, therefore it is not wise to sell your body. Where as if you are selling your parts like the kidney, blood or sperms this is again illegal - organs can be donated but not sold.

BTB why is this question in hobbies? Don't tell me you have a hobby of selling your body......

In what manner are you selling it? The traditional way, just your unnecessary organs, or are you renting out epidermis to advertisers? Then again, I suppose that anyway you cut it, it's still extremely disrespectful to yourself and your maker. Not something I'd recommend, but I guess you gotta do what you gotta do.

Depends on how and what you're selling it for. . . selling it as a type of advertising space is one thing; selling it for science is also different from prostitution. (Selling your sperm and/or blood is also another story.)

It also depends on if your body is worth it and how much $'s you're getting for it.

It's your body. If you're over 18, you should be able to do what you want with it.

Now, if you are spreading disease, then it becomes a problem for other people and you should be obligated to use protection.
