There are three books that I know you won't be able to put down. They are all by the same author and are really good.

Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer.

Twilight is about a girl who moves in with her dad but hates the town that he lives in. But then she meets a person who changes her life for ever, and he's not even a person.

here is the summery of Twilight...(not word-for-word)

There are three things I am positive of.
First, Edward is a Vampire.
Second, there is a part of him (and I don't know how potent that part may be), that thirsted for my blood.
And Thirdly, I am irresistibly and irrevocably in love with him.

It isn't a VAMPIRE vampire book at all. it is a romance novel. sort of a "Forbidden Love" type of book.

These books are very addicting and life-changing. They are going world wide! Eclipse sold more copies in the first three days then Harry Potter's 7th book sold in a week.

These are the best books in the universe, and I'm sure that thousands of girls aged 10-90 would agree with me.

Lord of the Flies by William Golding. A lot of symbolism in it and something that will make you want to keep reading and reading until the end of the book. It's hard to not read it. Also, it's not too long. It's about a large group of young ages 6-12 boys who are stranded on a tropical island. Basically, they are trying to survive and things start getting out of control.

The Harry Potter books and A Wrinkle In Time by Madeleine L'Engle. They both start off a little bit slow (A Wrinkle In Time is slow the first few chapters) but once they pick up they're hard to put down.

I loved "The Hot Zone" by Richard Preston. It's pretty gross in parts (it's a true story about a near-miss biohazard accident that almost released an ebola-type virus into the atmosphere here in the U.S. quite a few years ago) but it's very exciting and well-written. I truly couldn't put it down.

Try anything by Sarah Dessen. She is an amazing author, I have all her books, and I have read al in one day because they are so good. Also try the Lovely Bones, I forget the author, but it too was an amazingly good book.
