i think the pay is on a per contract basis. they do not compute it like a monthly salary.

the pay depends on a lot of factors:
medium of the ad -- print, billboard, radio, tv, etc
length of time the ad will be aired or distributed
the product itself
the model's popularity

Talent fees for commercial models vary. The main factor is the popularity AND CREDIBILITY of the talent in relation to the product being pushed.

Sam Milby (although we haven't worked with him) is probably in the P3-5 million range for one TV spot. Kris Aquino is paid more. Sharon Cuneta is paid the highest among showbiz people (like P8-10M per TV commercial).

This all depends on your negotiations with your selected model. Those who are at their prime time demands more. Filipinos like to pattern or parrot themselves with the Americans but in the crab mentality way. I am a Filipino so I know surely well my traditions followed by majority although I do not because I was raise by American Christian missionaries since childhood 60 years ago.

I believe that Kris is making around 5 Million per commercial. But Sam is a newbie and he does not even come that close.

I think it depends on the contract they signed. For example (if you really are a big star), 5 million contract for 2 years, which includes (2) year unlimited supply of the product & tv ads & billboards. Meaning, all of it was included to your 5M contract.

For amateur, they pay you per hour during the show (it depends on product or company). During my time, they pay me P500 per hour. No contract of course...
