i saw it in the answer to a chemistry question about dissolving Teo2 in SiO2- supposedly you can do that by dissolving the TeO2 in H2SO4, then doing a base wash- what's this mean tho?

I am sorry to use this question to complete the answer to another question. I hope I don't annoy you., but you won't take emails. Hard work is good only to teach skills that could be mechanized. Like playing defense. In any sport, to create as an individual ( dribbling), comes with you. I conclude that you don't do it very well, because you doubt it is innate. You can't teach a Michael Jordan, Pele, and players like them what to do. When you are a good player, you don't even know what you'll do in the next millisecond. It comes from inside you. That was your question. And that doesn't mean you can't become a good offensive player. Playing as a team is very important also. Look at Germany, how much they win without having dribblers in their team. Good luck.

A base wash is simply a neutralization of any excess or remaining acid.
