I'm 14 1/2 and haven't gotten my period yet. My mom got hers when she was 13. I'm not done growing yet, I'm 5'5'' and 105 pounds, and am only a 32AA. I'm supposed to be about 5'8'' and probably a B cup.
All this morning, my stomach hurt, which I think might be cramps. Also, I've been really tired and moody. Could this be my period coming?

It could be. Be glad it didn't come sooner because it will be with you for the next 40 yrs. Talk to your mom.

It most likely is going to come soon based on what you told us so far. The normal age to get it in the United States is 12.5 years old. You seem underweight for your height so this might be why your period was delayed.
It would be best to prepare for this by bringing a pad with you around. When periods first start, they are usually very light. Check your underwear every few hours for spots.
Whenever you get cramps, drink lots of water, lie down, and eat a bananna or apple.
Talk to your mother or legal gaurdian(s) about this too. Adults have lots of experience and can help.

It could be. Girls develop at different rates and periods don't always come on a set schedule. If you haven't gotten it by 16-17 you should talk to your doctor.

Yes,It could be! My grandma got her period when she was 17. I wish I had my period at that age..I got mines when I was 12! Well at least you already know what periods are like and won't feel worried when it really comes!

don't worry if it isn't your period because even 1 develops a different rates. don't compare your breast and age of getin ur period with your mum. it is probably your period because by this age i would be starting to get a lil concerned if u hadn't had it by now. if you still haven't had it by the time ur 15 talk to ur mum and ask her to take u to a docta

Why would you say she wont get it till shes 17 or 18 yrs old?.Girls could have their periods as young as 9 yrs old . i got mine at 10yrs , it all depends on when your body is ready.Wait darling you'll get it soon.
