It's always wise to have more than one antispyware on your computer, but not all running simultaneously.
Ad-Aware, Spybot and SuperAntiSpyware are the programs I currently use to eliminate popups, spyware, and adware from my computer. They are well-written, and do not add popups or ads themselves.

SuperAntiSpyware (free)

Spybot S&D (free)

Ad-aware SE Personal (free)

Yes You Can. Infact You Can have Unlimited.
One program Will Pick Up What The other has Missed And Vice Versa.
Your Computer Will Run Slowly If You Scan At The Same Time, So If You Scan At Different Times, No Problems.

Yes, you can, but it's redundant. Also, the programs may buck up against each other. You should use one or the other unless you're sure there is some unwanted spyware on your pc that you need to get rid of.

Most spyware is harmless.
