and I was wondering what would be the best present to get for her. and please dont tell me that i should make it for her because we live a thousand miles apart. anything like these cute cookies or something. lets pray for her, her mother, and her family :`(

send her a thoughtful card or teddy bear--something she can cuddle when the pain is too great
I have to agree with the others...visiting your friend would give her some comfort and maybe even some relief.
I'm so sorry for your friend's loss. If you can't visit her, just give her a phone call and be there for her.

Secondly, i know the cost would be great, to fly to see her or whatever, but that is probably the best gift that you could give her. Or call her on the phone and just listen to her. Sometimes just having someone to talk to in these situations is the best thing you could do.

I think the best present would be to actually go and visit her. Then you can be there for her. That would make her feel a whole lot better.

You might consider sending flowers if you're not able to attend the funeral. A heartfelt card filled with words of encouragement and prayers are always welcomed. I know it helped me when my father passed away. Give her a call to tell her that you're thinking of her. I'm sure she would love to hear your voice.
