ty to who helped me with 1 and 2! I was able to get to 9 (this number), hopefully i can get to 16 after this.

please help me understand what to do. i see my knowns are m=45 kg, speed=50m/s. I dont know what the period of acceleration is used for though...

A golf ball with a mass of 45 g is struck by a club, leaving the tee with a speed of 1.8 * 10² km/h. The period of acceleration was 0.50 m/s.

a) What is the average acceleration on the ball as it was struck (in m/s²)?

b)What is the froce exerted on the club?

c)What is the force exerted on the club by the ball?

You say period of acceleration was 0.50 m/s. Periods should be measured in seconds. So just cause I don't have anything better to do than guess what you meant: I'll say

the period of acceleration was 0.50 s

a) Acceleration is delta velocity/time
a = (50 m/s) / 0.50 s = 100 m/s^2

b) and c) will be equal and opposite per Newton's 3rd Law
F = m*a
