I do this all the time! I always tell myself, just one more chapter and then I'll go to bed - but it never happens. I always have to find out what happens next, and then what happens after that, and so forth. I've lost a lot of sleep because of good books!

I actually do that quite often. I know I shouldn't because then I'm tired the next day, but sometimes, I just have to know what's going to happen before I can sleep. On the other hand, I love it when a book is so interesting that I can't rest until I know how it's gonna turn out. It is slightly upsetting, at least to my sleeping habbits, to see other people in my house getting up for work and school before I've even gone to sleep. But hey, I love to read, and when I'm enjoying it, why shouldn't I finish?

Don't worry, you're not alone. I've done that many times. I usually read before bed and fall asleep even if its a good book. But if I've had too much caffeine or have insomnia for any other reason, that's what I do instead of watching TV or getting on the computer. I'm sure there are a lot more people who do those things rather than read when they can't sleep.

I've done that before, and I'm not the only one. My sister stayed up all night to read the last Harry Potter book. My friends do stuff like that all the time, too, even if they've read the book in question before.

No you are not weird! I read until I'm finished with a good book time doesn't matter when I'm reading. So don't freak out your brother just looked at you weird because he has a different personality than you and has different interests!

Hello there! There is nothing wrong with reading till 5 in the morning. Being a literature addict myself, I also had that ecstatic feeling whenever I don't feel like dropping the book that I read, even if has caused me heavy eye bags. That only goes to show how passionate you are with books. It is so liberating.
