i need to find out the correct chain tension and tyre presure.

hey guardrailjim, do you actualy read the 'Q' before you answer??
its all in the 'Q' K reg(1992) make kawasaki mod gpz500s engine size 500cc.

unfortunately the only one for your bike is a German edition but it shouldn't be too hard to translate the bits you need.

Incidentally I believe the tyre pressures should be 32psi front
& 36 psi rear, I got this from a Kawasaki forum;

As a general rule of thumb for most bikes I find about 2 inches of play from top to bottom at the tightest point on the chain is normally okay but it does vary from bike to bike, you get a feel for it after a while.

Maybe on Ebay or find the kawasaki website. They might have one there.

I would try to check on ebay for a while. Try your local kawasaki dealer too.

Ebay. The Clymer manual for the EX500 is very good.
