Can you wait much longer?

I've had to wait nearly a year to get started on medication for my problems again--and that nearly killed me. ^_^
Did it make me stronger? I'm not sure. There *are* some things in life that you just don't adapt to, not without losing more than you get. Like with the fellow who mentioned being shot, and being paralyzed. Being a paraplegic in a wheelchair *can* make your arms much stronger, to compensate, but *nobody* wants to lose their legs, control over their lower body, to *make* their arms stronger *that way*. Just as an example.
But yeah, I'm not sure. I'm not out of the woods yet, and I don't really know yet if this past year or so has made me stronger or just worn me down.
Because some things in life do that, they just wear you down, you know? ^_^ Heh, if *everything* had the potential to make me stronger, like Nietzsche said it did, I'd be flying and using my "x-ray vision" by now, surely.

Me and my brother were talking about that, he said "If something doesn't kill you, it makes you stronger." I told him "I'm sure that getting shot in the leg doesn't make you stronger." He said "Yeah, it'll make the other leg stronger. Being paralyzed doesn't make you physically stronger." He's right.

It'll make me stronger. I can wait however long is necessary though it's not always easy.
