A model rocket is launched straight upward with an initial speed of 46.1 m/s. It accelerates with a constant upward acceleration of 1.85 m/s2 until its engines stop at an altitude of 153 m. What is the maximum height reached by the rocket?

Like how do you do this? You don't have to give me the answer, but the process.

thank you so much.

Find Vf, speed at MECO (main engine cutoff).
Vf^2 = Vo^2 +2*a*y
where Vo=0

To find how high it gets after that, use the same equation, but now
Vf from the last solution is the new Vo,
Vf = 0 (when upward velocity decays to nothing), and
a = -g
y is max height
